Nope these rats were not the only ones. There were lots more like them. Nonetheless, this is one very rare game from Microgaming that can actually pay 5 Scatters for a 100x bet win. None other games have done so, for me at least. Okay, perhaps I couldn't get any, and perhaps some of you may have managed to get them, but how come you never let us know, hah? What, you didn't get them? Ah, okay. I actually got those 5 Scatters alright, but that was playing in the fun mode! Damn!

'The Rat Pack' is the Wild symbol in the game, paying 5000x the line bet for getting 5 of them. It substitutes for other symbols except the Scatter and the '2x' symbols, but is otherwise a dumb Wild symbol. No doubling of wins, no stacking, no expanding, no nothing. Probably means no win for me and you too. The Disc is the Scatter symbol, paying the usual 100x total bet for getting 5 of them, and getting 3 or more of these discs trigger a scatters-only Free Spins game, whereby only the Scatter symbols pay. The Scatter symbols become sticky, each new appearing Scatter awards 1 respin, and the game ends when no more Scatter symbols remain on the reels. Pretty good game this. I like it. The paytable indicates 'win up to 30,000 coins', but don't be deceived by this amount, it is only 100x the total bet!

There is a '2x' symbol in the game, which doubles any wins with it, acting like a Wild symbol by substituting for other symbols except the Scatter symbol. Why need this symbol at all, when the Wild symbol itself could have been assigned with doubling all wins? This is purely adding one more unnecessary symbol into the game! The different Mice symbols pay from 1000x to 300x the line bet for 5 getting 5 of each kind, and the other symbols pay from 150x to 50x the line bet for getting 5 of each kind. An average paytable.

In the Free Spins game, 1 Sticky Scatter pays 1x the total bet, 3 Sticky Scatters pay 4x, and 5 Sticky Scatters pay 100x. I do not know how many spins the Free Spins game can give, because it all depends on the Sticky Scatters. The free spins would go on respinning as long as there are Scatters on the reels, so some big wins can be expected from this game. Nonetheless, my Free Spins games paid out from 8x up to 46x my bet amount, which weren't that good at all, as compared to playing it in the fun mode, but playing The Rat Pack can be fun and exciting.

What I don't approve are 30 Paylines. For extended reels that only contain 30 paylines? That doesn't make sense. I prefer The Rat Pack slot to have at least 50 paylines...I wouldn't mind playing it if it had that many lines. Costly or not!The Rat Pack consists of rodents posing as singers. Commonly on $1.50 bets per spin I hit this slot up for at least an hour. It is very hard to choose one slot from all other slots because personal tastes and how good one slot is can become a hassle. It's favourable to have these scatters land on the top most reels so that when I begin this feature the records will trail downward starting from the top instead of the bottom. If unfortunately my triggered scatters land close to the bottom I will be in a rut knowing there is a good chance the spins will continue for just a short time only. Three spins total is the worst I got after I triggered this feature and only a miniscule $9.60 came from them. As long as there is a record appearing during the feature I will be fine...that's what keeps the feature going.

Once in a lifetime I landed 5 scatters for a $1.50 bet! 100x choked me a little when I was both watching my screen and drinking some punch. It happened in Platinum Play casino. "Holy Crap" were the words to describe my moment while acting in disgust under a positive expression as if I saw something disgusting and shocking at the same time. A few breaths in minutes and I was fine. $150 for my $1.50 was just awesome!!! I recommend all the slot pullers if they want to try their luck at gaining 100x there bets!

I would rate Rat Pack as an 8 out of 10! Too bad more paylines are what I wanted in this slot. It can be better and it's not too late....to change you know!

On every reel there are 4 symbols instead of the usual 3. However, when I take a critical look at this, I don't really see the point since it still has 30 paylines. Most slots with 4 rows have at least 40 paylines. The minimum bet on this game is €0.30 but I've played it on €1.20 during an 1-hour session.

If you don't like rodents, then don't let the name of this slot scare you lol. These rodents are friendly looking, wear suits and can sing too! In addition there are two type of wilds available in this game. The red rat pack symbol is the first wild that replaces all other symbols except the 2x and golden disk symbol.

The other wild is the 2x wild which also replaces all other symbols except and the golden disk. Except this 2x wild, multiplies all winnings by two. As you could have guessed, the golden disk symbol is the scatter in this game. The scatters have a very special treat for you in the free spins session.

My base game wins haven't been all that with 20x bet size being my absolute highlight. I once managed to trigger the free spins, and what you have to keep in mind is that the free spins feature is totally different from anything you've experienced with other slots before.

First of all - you won't know how many free spins you'll have before you trigger them by collecting 3 or more scatters. Second thing is that during the free spins all the focus is basically on the scatters. The scatters in their position are put on hold, and the remaining reels keep spinning. After every spin the scatters drop one position until they completely disappear.

I can imagine it being way easier to collect 5 scatters here, but the joy for me was over within 4 spins so that was the less nice part of it, since I only won like €11. The potential just doesn't seem to be there to really hit huge. Unless if you consider 5 scatters to be huge? Which is 100x your bet I believe.

I appreciate the out-of-the-box thinking from Microgaming, but they should have more added value for the players. Right now I'm unfortunately missing that a bit too much.

There are four symbols on the reels instead of three and i must say i don't like it. Something is off with it and the pay lines are different.

There is only one feature in this game and it is a free spins feature. Even the feature in this game is weird and i don't know what to think of it. in theory it could be very good and give you tonnes of free spins but in reality it is the exact opposite. there are 30 lines in this game and my usual bet is €0.60. When i got the feature the reels span one time and few golden discs came out. The once that came out freeze and move down every spin. if you get more discs they freeze and go down every spin. On my feature i got three discs on the last reels and no more discs came out, total paid to €5 on €0.60 bet.

Over all i really don't like this game, it is very difficult for me to get the feature. Hundreds and hundreds of spins just to earn €5,i guess you could see why i don't like it:) The pays are also pretty small and very hard to get five of a kind. I would not recommend this game to anyone and. If i was to rate this game i would give it 3 out of 10.

The base game is interesting and sometimes I had a few bigger winnings. A few times I had x2 symbols which doubles my win and near this symbols were rat pack symbols which pays good. But to be honest, most of the time I got only a few pennies and I did not like it. On every 30 spin or even more I had win which was bigger because of those x2 symbols.

The free spins feature here is not so good for me. I triggered it once and I do not understand it. Only scatter pays awarded per spin. It is really different feature than at other video slots, but still I do not like it. At the end I won around x8 bet which I think is bad. There were only a few scatter symbols and I played 4 free spins at this feature. I think you can receive many more free spins than just 4, but after I saw how the feature looks like I closed the game.

After all I do not like this game. The payouts could be much better during my gameplay session and the game could offer something more. Here I miss some kind of bonus game, most of 30 paylines video slots offer bonus game and free spins feature. But here is only free spins feature and I did not like it at all. I will rate this game with 4 stars, this game is not for me so I will not play it again.
